Description Wake Veterinary Medical Center in Raleigh is currently seeking an Oncology Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative and compassionate team. At Wake Veterinary Medical Center, we provide advanced oncology services tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Our compassionate team offers leading cancer treatments, including surgery, and chemotherapy to help your pet fight cancer while maintaining a high quality of life.

We value our relationships with referring veterinarians and work closely with them to ensure seamless, coordinated care for every patient. Our oncology team provides detailed updates throughout the treatment process and collaborates with primary care veterinarians to develop personalized cancer care plans.

Wake Vet is a 24-hour hybrid hospital offering primary care, emergency, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, advanced imaging (ultrasound and 64-slice CT), and cardiology services through our partnership with CVCA. We’ve recently doubled our facility space, added dedicated special procedures and chemotherapy rooms, and expanded our diagnostic capabilities to better support our patients and referring veterinarians.

Education and Experience

  • Licensed/credentialed veterinary technician (RVT) preferred Highly qualified Veterinary
  • Assistants will also be considered

Requirements

A licensed or credentialed veterinary technician (RVT) is preferred. Highly qualified veterinary assistants will also be considered for the role.
