Also, the MOHS Technician performs extensive administrative duties involving medical record keeping, developing laboratory protocols and following federal and state guidelines. They will assist the surgeon in all stages of surgery.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited course in Histology or Pathology and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical-based practice, including six months of MOHS experience. Membership in the American Society for MOHS Surgery is preferred.
