Job Description: Summary
The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) reports to the site supervisor and the radiology manager.
Under general supervision, the MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations for physician interpretation. Other duties as deemed necessary.

Graduation from an accredited school of imaging.
1+ years, General MRI exams, implants, elastography, and defecography. Rotate to other locations as needed for training/staffing.
Registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) in MRI.
Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision.
Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be familiar with age-specific criteria.
Must obtain registry within 1 year of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
