The Specimen Accessioner is responsible for preparing laboratory specimens for analysis, accurately identifying and labeling specimens, and ensuring proper storage and shipping of samples. They also perform data entry of patient information and resolve any issues with problem specimens.

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Overland Park, KS.
Employee can expect to average between 42-50 hours total a week dependent on volume, absences, etc…
Mandatory Saturday or Sunday rotation every 5-6 weeks. Weekend shift is
typically 4-6 hours.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current or prior Labcorp experience
Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
