The Wound Tech is responsible for recording patient vitals, drawing blood samples, and assisting physicians during exams and treatments. They also manage patient charts, coordinate care, and arrange necessary laboratory tests.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific hearing and vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and adjust focus. The work environment is primarily a clinical office setting. Health Care Status: Direct patient contact within the facility setting.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association. At least one year of experience in a physician's office or hospital setting is required.
