About the role

Perform cellular immunology and microbiology experiments within Biosafety Level 2+ laboratories following established SOPs. Oversee general laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and supply procurement.

Work in the Division of Immunology at the Tulane National Primate Research Center.

Perform experiments in Biosafety Level 2 laboratories.

Receive training in biosafety protocols from both the Principal Investigator and the Institutional Department of Biosafety.

Conduct experiments involving cellular immunology and microbiology in accordance with established Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs).

Operate independently under minimal supervision in Biosafety Level 2+ conditions.

Oversee overall laboratory operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and performing general laboratory maintenance.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree and experience in laboratory settings. Preferred candidates have a science degree and two years of experience with specific immunology and molecular biology techniques.
