Phlebotomist - Full Time
Committed to care, our Phlebotomist can enter a room and bring comfort, calm and compassion. Join a team of Phlebotomists in a fast-paced hospital, outpatient laboratory and at a skilled nursing facilities drawing blood for laboratory tests as requested by physicians in accordance with established procedures. This position is a full time schedule of Monday through Sunday (including alternating weekends) varied hours 6:00AM-4:00PM (6:00AM-2:00PM, 7:00AM-3:00PM, and 8:00AM-4:00PM); at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY 10567. Must be willing to travel to support offsite when needed at 1756 Route 9D Cold Spring location.
Required Criteria
Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma to patients.
Must be able to function well under the normal pressures of hospital laboratory work.
Possess effective communication and organizational skills.
Possess computer skills appropriate for the position.
