Responsible for supervising self-administered medications and assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. The role also involves monitoring vital signs and providing emotional and social support to residents.
Lewisville Estates Senior Living Community is currently seeking PRN Caregivers and Med Techs to cares for the residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director.
1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or the Assisted Living Director. Caring for the residents as if they were an extension of your own family. Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting). Assisting some residents with Ambulation and Transferring. Takes and records vital signs. Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output. Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor. Provides emotional and social support to residents. Performs other duties as assigned.
Previous experience as a caregiver required. Previous experience as a med tech required. Previous experience working with the Senior Living Community preferred. Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
