Join our Cardiology Ambulatory Triage RN team, where you’ll serve as a vital clinical resource for a high‑volume department supporting 24 cardiology providers.
In this role, you’ll answer live incoming calls using nursing judgment to triage appropriately per IU Health and departmental protocols, communicate abnormal test results with physician direction, conduct in‑office nurse triage visits, and act as a strong patient advocate between providers and patients.

Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN) and an active RN license in Indiana or a Compact license, with a BSN preferred. Candidates must have BLS certification through the AHA and typically at least one year of RN experience.
