What you can expect

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm schedule working in a busy Cardiology practice
In person position. Primary location will be MOORESVILLE, but will need to be able to travel to Indianapolis location as needed
Enjoy work life balance with consistent day shift schedule and observed holidays off work. Periodic evening and Saturday shifts may be scheduled to support operational needs
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas, including cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking supplies to ensure patient readiness
Support efficient patient flow by rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, vital signs, medication reconciliation, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as directed
Accurately document patient care, communications, and clinical activities in EPIC EMR and other required systems
Assist providers with procedures, patient communication, referrals, prior authorizations, appointment scheduling, and coordination of testing and follow-up care
Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff while delivering high-quality care within the Medical Assistant scope of practice
Travel is required: Up to 20%
