About the role

The Veterinary Technician supports veterinarians by performing technical and administrative tasks, including surgical assistance and lab work. They are also responsible for maintaining clinic cleanliness, restocking supplies, and educating clients on pet care.

We are a high-volume, fast-paced veterinary clinic.

Our technicians assist with monitoring hospitalized pets, maintaining inventory, preparing prescriptions, performing routine, in-house lab work, educating clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assisting with surgical procedures.

The Technician assists veterinarians to the fullest possible extent, allowing them to achieve greater efficiency by relieving them of technical and administrative work.

The technician Cleans and straightens exam rooms, treatment areas, and lab areas.

Assists other staff members in keeping the public areas of the practice clean and well-maintained.

Restocks exam rooms with supplies as needed as well as cleaning and maintains all medical equipment as required.

The veterinary industry is constantly changing and advancing.
