About the role

Perform diagnostic medical sonography services at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. Responsibilities include conducting ultrasound exams and adhering to clinical standards for patient care.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, 5 8hr shifts, Monday-Friday 1

30pm-10pm rotating Holidays and Weekend. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime: On-call pay

Qualifications

  • Completion of accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
  • Work Experience
  • Experience as a sonographer. Preferred
  • Previous healthcare experience. Required
  • Two years of clinical experience. Preferred
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
  • Registered by ARDMS in abdomen and OB/Gyn within 12 months of hire. Required
  • Must have passed Sonography Principles & Instrumentation (SPI) exam before start date. Required
  • Registered by ARDMS in abdomen, OB/Gyn and Vascular. Preferred
