Position Summary

The Family Worker works in a collaborative manner to build a partnering relationship with families and others in the home and community to assure that the needs of designated children and their families are respectfully and adequately addressed. In each case the Family Worker will assure that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive and responsive, and goal driven. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.

Essential Responsibilities

Assess risk factors related to safety and well being of all family members. 4. Provide clinical direction that meet the needs of the child and family. 2. Worker will: 1. Plan and lead treatment team meetings for the purpose of creating treatment plans/ISP. 2. Work with team members to develop ownership for the treatment plan/ISP. 3. Write and utilize specific measurable goals, objectives, and time frames for each child and family. 4. Develop crisis plan for each child and family. 3. To ensure implementation and evaluation of effective treatment plans that fosters goal attainment, the

Worker will: 1. Deliver services outlined in treatment plan/ISP. 2. Monitor and record client/family progress. 3. Provide advocacy for family to outside agencies. 4. Evaluate and reform goals and objectives as necessary. 5. Provide support to families in times of crisis.

Essential Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification

Requires valid state driver's license and vehicle insurance.

Clearances. State Police/FBI per state regulations; Child Protection; Mandated Reporter.

Working Conditions

1. Physical Demands. Requires vision, speech, and hearing 2. Environmental Factors. Normal administrative office environment 3. Working Hours. Mon- Friday as set by the Program Director

Requirements
