Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.
Care of
Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.
Clinical/Technical
Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.
Requires 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery experience and an active California Registered Nurse license. Must hold BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
