Perform interpretive and technical radiologic functions to ensure proper diagnosis of patients using CT and X-ray equipment. Responsibilities include administering contrast, maintaining equipment, and following safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Under the direction of the department manager or supervisor, performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.
Education & Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited two‑year radiologic technology program
Required Licenses/Certifications: CMRT by the Texas Medical Board, ARRT, BLS certifications required
6 months to 1 year radiology & CT experience required with preference in hospital setting. Fluoroscopy experience required at the Arlington Hospital.
Ability to stand/walk between 4 to 6 hours and sit between 2-4 hours. Requires the motion to lift and carry up to 1/3 of the time. Bend, reach, push, carry and pull 1/3 or more of the time. Continuous use of hands in gross and precise motor function. Lift up to 100 pounds up to 1/3 of the time.
