HOURS: Shift starting between 10:00 am to 12:00pm (8hr shift)

Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling.
Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received.
Maintain the integrity of the specimen and patient identification.
Describe gross anatomic features of routine, uncomplicated surgical specimens, ensuring that all lesions, marking and sutures are mentioned.
This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.

Candidates must have an Associate degree in a biological, chemical, or physical science or medical laboratory technology. One year of experience in grossing is preferred.
