The technician is responsible for receiving, evaluating, and processing gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration specimens for diagnostic evaluation. They also maintain department inventory, operate lab equipment, and utilize pathology computer systems for tracking and reporting.

About the Job
In this role, the Cytopreparatory Technician, will receive and evaluate cytology specimens to ensure positive sample identification and appropriateness. Process gynecological, non-gynecological and fine needle aspirations slides for diagnostic evaluation by cytopathology technologists and pathologists. Utilize the pathology computer system to provide accurate information for testing, tracking and reporting.
