We are seeking a PRN (as needed) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about working with children and adolescents. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Psychiatrist and multidisciplinary treatment team to provide thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care within our adolescent behavioral health programs.

Your Role Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adolescent patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications within the scope of licensure and organizational protocols.
Monitor medication effectiveness, potential side effects, treatment response, and client progress.
Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up and client and family education.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and care coordination.
Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
Assess psychiatric needs and provide crisis support or emergency psychiatric evaluation within the PMHNP’s scope of practice.
Serve as a trusted clinical resource for clients, families, and team members.
Maintain compliance with applicable professional, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards .
Compensation & Benefits

What We’re Looking For Licensed in Florida (active, unrestricted APRN with psych certification). DEA registration and authority to prescribe appropriate controlled substances. At least 1 year of psychiatric experience (including relevant clinical rotations for new grads); adolescent experience preferred. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology for youth. Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging youth and families in care.
