The Emergency Room Technician provides direct non-licensed patient care to neonate through geriatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They also assist the healthcare team by maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and providing clerical support.
Emergency Room Shift: 7:00PM - 7:30PM, every other weekend Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital - Darby, PA As an ER Tech, you will: The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. They provide non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. They assist the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and current CPR certification. Previous experience as a nursing assistant, EMT, or in an emergency room is preferred, and phlebotomy training must be completed within six months of hire.
