About the role

Provide direct patient care including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Perform minor procedures and collaborate with a clinical team across multiple clinic locations.

Position Summary

At The Urgent Care, you'll see a real mix of patients and cases, from the sniffles to the stitches, without the burnout of a packed primary care panel or the chaos of an ER.

You'll have the autonomy to run your own room, the backup of a collaborative team when you want a second set of eyes, and enough variety across our five locations that no two shifts feel the same.

We've built something patients trust since 2004, more than 500,000 of them and counting, and we're looking for a provider who wants to be part of the next chapter.

If you're the kind of PA or NP who likes moving fast, thinking on your feet, and actually connecting with the people in front of you, you'll fit right in.

We offer competitive pay, flexible full-time and part-time schedules, and genuine room to grow.

Bring your skills, your bedside manner, and a little Louisiana warmth.

We'll bring the rest.

Market context

Louisiana advanced-practice roles need licensure readiness

Advanced-practice roles in Louisiana often draw steady demand in clinical settings that need experienced patient assessment, prescribing, and care coordination. These positions are competitive because employers typically want candidates who already hold, or can quickly obtain, a Louisiana PA or NP license plus DEA and DOT credentials; benefits such as PTO, dental, disability, life insurance, and EAP support are also common considerations. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure timeline before applying.
