The Senior MLS is responsible for solving technical and interdepartmental problems within various laboratory areas to ensure accurate test performance. They identify reporting issues, take corrective actions, and work closely with Technical Specialists to maintain high operational standards.
$32.60 - $48.90 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Education: Bachelor’s or Associate's degree and the requisite courses to meet CLIA requirements for moderate to high complexity testing.
Certification: MT, MLS or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification. Ongoing active certification is strongly preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience at the Lab Associate level at NorthShore or for an external candidate, four (4) years’ experiences in a healthcare setting of comparable complexity.
MLT: Six (6) years of experience in a healthcare setting of comparable complexity.
