The primary purpose of the Endoscopy Technician position is to assist in the performance of all procedures in the endoscopy unit involving quality patient care. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse, performs various duties to assist in Endoscopy Procedures and other related Special Procedure activities.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Certificate for Endoscopy Technician required. Applicants who do not possess required certificate, must have two (2) years of Endoscopy related experience. Knowledge of use of the Automated Endoscope Re-processor preferred.
