About the role

Develops and maintains physical therapy services for inpatients, outpatients, and long-term care residents in collaboration with physicians and families. Ensures all care is provided in compliance with hospital standards and American Physical Therapy Association guidelines.

We are hiring for multiple openings of Physical Therapist positions in the Acute PT Department at Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK!

Currently available schedules

  • Full Time, 0.9 FTE, day shift, 36 hours per week.
  • Full Time, 1 FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week. $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Physical Therapy services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners and patient/family. Provides services to inpatients, outpatients and HHC clients and long-term care residents. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with hospital standards and guidelines established by the American Physical Therapy Association in conjunction with regulatory requirements of both federal and state agencies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or
  • Ph.D. in Physical Therapy.
  • Upon hire: Alaska Physical Therapist License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and credentials in sub-specialty.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physical Therapy along with an Alaska Physical Therapist License. Must hold a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
