• WSRH: ALS Amputees Brain Injury, Traumatic & Non-Traumatic Complex Wound Care Needs Cardiovascular Cerebral Palsy Guillain-Barre Syndrome Parkinson’s Disease Major Joint Replacements Multiple Sclerosis Organ Transplant Pulmonary Disease Renal Disease, including Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis patients Spinal Cord Injury Stroke Rehab nurses are poised to provide restorative care through expert knowledge and understanding of the holistic, individualized, and complex needs of each patient—supported by a culture of excellence recognized by Magnet® and CARF. General Summary Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
