About the role

Provide and coordinate independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as part of a multidisciplinary team. Maintain a specific commitment of 96 hours every four weeks, including weekend and holiday shifts.

Job Requirements Provide and coordinate independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as a fully effective and participative member of the multidisciplinary patient care services team. This job commitment is 96 hours within each four (4) week scheduling period, which includes four (4) 12-hour weekend shifts. It also includes one (1) summer holiday and one (1) winter holiday per calendar year.

Work Experience Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland, or eligible to practice nursing in Maryland due to Compact state agreements outlined through the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Unit-based licensure as required for the role defined at the unit/department level. Examples include but are not limited to Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NPR), Certification in Pre-Transport/Post-Resuscitation Stabilization Care of Sick Infants for Neonatal Healthcare Providers (STABLE), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma 101, etc.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Two (2) years of nursing experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.

An associate degree in nursing.

Maintenance of ten (10) contact hours of continuing education every two (2) years.

Education & Experience - Preferred Provide the preferred education that includes the discipline(s). Provide the preferred year(s) and type(s) of experience (do not use a range). Provide preferred certifications and/or licensures.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a specific specialty such as critical care, med/surg, or pediatrics.
