Description

This contract position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to provide exceptional patient care within our medical practice. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care to our patients.

In this on-site role, you will engage in diagnosing and treating a variety of cardiac conditions, participating in patient consultations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient assessments and cardiovascular evaluations Diagnose and manage a range of cardiac conditions Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Develop and implement effective treatment plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and medical practices

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Current medical license to practice in the state of California Associate level experience in cardiology or related field Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with electronic health records and medical software Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Schedule: 7a-5p, 4-5 consecutive days

Overnight and weekend call, 1: 4 rotation

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Census: 15-25 patients, ~ 6 consults

Testing: Echos and TEEs likely

Support Staff: Additional MD, APPs

EMR: Cerner

Board certification required
