Where You Will Work

Atrium Health Lincoln offers comprehensive maternity services in a warm and comfortable environment.

Our birthing center, New Beginnings, has large spacious rooms where mom remains for the length of her stay including labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.

We practice mother-baby couplet care so that the newborn can be cared for at the bedside by the same nurse caring for mom.

In addition to our newborn nursery, we also have a level 2 nursery for babies requiring special care.

A pediatric hospitalist is available to manage the care of these babies.

We have a state-of-the-art infant security system to give patients peace of mind during their stay.

We’re Looking For: · Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

· Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

· Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

· L&D, Postpartum, or Newborn experience highly preferred.

· NRP recommended within 6 months of hire.

What You’ll Do

· As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

· Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location

We are proud to celebrate Atrium Health Lincoln on achieving their Magnet Recognition with Distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center along with being honored with 14 exemplars.

This award winning, 101-bed hospital, was designed with the community in mind.

The facility opened in 2010, replacing a family farm.

History from this farm can be seen and found on the campus today.

300,000 reclaimed bricks from a local mill, Belding-Hausman Mill, were placed into the exterior of the hospital and represent the dedication to the community they serve.

The campus also has a 1.2-mile public walking trail that encircles the campus, winding past ponds and through natural wooded areas left intact on the land.

Two medical office buildings that house many medical provider offices and offer medical services that serve the community can also be found on Atrium Health Lincoln's campus.

North Carolina nursing roles stay competitive

North Carolina nursing jobs often reflect steady demand in hospitals, clinics, and long-term care settings, especially for RNs who can provide age-appropriate care across patient populations. These roles are competitive because employers typically want an approved nursing-school graduate with a current North Carolina RN or Compact License and active AHA BLS certification.
