Overview Cardiovascular Technologist | Cardiovascular Tech | Baltimore, Maryland, US This travel assignment is for a staff Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) working in a hospital setting.

Start date is 08/17/2026 for a 13-week contract with 32 guaranteed hours per week.

Weekly pay ranges from $1,844 to $1,976.

Shift pattern is 5x8 days: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM Monday–Thursday and 7:30 AM–12:00 PM Friday.

The role supports the vascular team by providing clinically relevant information to assist the vascular surgeon with diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations and tests, with emphasis on venous studies, to support diagnostic decisions.
  • Provide clinically relevant information to assist the vascular surgeon in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Prepare, process, and document imaging findings and ensure quality and accuracy of studies.
  • Adhere to facility policies, professional standards, and safety protocols; maintain patient and data confidentiality.
  • Communicate results clearly to the care team and participate in collaborative problem-solving.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, perform routine quality control, and report any equipment issues.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) experience; venous imaging experience required (must be clearly listed on resume)
  • Certifications: Active ARDMS RVT or RVS CCI certification; active American Heart Association BLS
  • Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination required (declinations not accepted)
  • Scheduling: Must be willing to work the facility’s schedule; scheduling restrictions will not be accepted
  • Travel experience: Previous travel experience required
  • Location and references: Locals accepted; no radius rule; resume with gaps clearly explained
  • Documentation: GBMC cover page required (a provided cover page can be used if needed); submission materials include resume, 1 supervisory reference from the last 6 months, 1 supervisory reference from the last 12 months, and a skills checklist specific to the vascular discipline
