About the unit Our Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central areas of Michigan.

We create personalized assignments close to home that enable our nurses to visit between 5-7 patients per shift.
From Ludington, to Baldwin, to Nunica and south through Kent County, Ottawa County and as far south as Gun Lake, our Corewell Health West, Visiting Nurses Team goes the distance to provide outstanding patient care Scope of work Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Manager, and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients.
The RN assesses monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

Associates in Nursing Required Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required MI Driver’s License Required AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
Candidates must have an Associate's in Nursing and a Michigan Registered Nurse license, with a Bachelor's degree required within five years. A valid MI Driver's License and BLS certification within 90 days are also mandatory.
