Job Description: SUMMARY
Uses the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care provided to individuals in a Critical Care Unit (e.g., NCCU, CVICU, CCU). Actively accepts, understands, and practices appropriate standards of critical care nursing. Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of the hospital and department. Performs various activities related to the needs of critically ill patients in accordance with the hospital’s established policies and procedures to include the following age groups: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state RN license. Required certifications include BCLS and ACLS, with institutional courses in EKG and Critical Care required if not previously experienced.
