About the role

Perform full-scope oral surgery including IV sedation, complex extractions, and implant placements. Lead a chairside team to provide care for a diverse, underserved patient population.

The Schedule 12–16 days per month — pick the rhythm that fits your life Fully flexible — work around your private practice, your hospital cases, or your family Consistent location — Desert Sky office in West Phoenix, easy access from the I-10 and Loop 101 What You'll Be Doing This is a full-scope oral surgery role.

The bulk of the work centers on: IV sedation and conscious sedation cases Surgical extractions, including impacted third molars Implants Complex extractions, alveoloplasty, and pre-prosthetic surgery Pathology, biopsies, and the broader scope of OMFS within an outpatient setting You bring the hands.

We bring the patients, the staff, the instruments, the assistants, and the back-office.

Who We're Looking For DDS or DMD with strong surgical training and experience — think GPR/AEGD residency or documented chairside surgical volume (extractions, surgical extractions, bone grafting, and implant placement) Active Arizona dental license (or eligible and willing to obtain) Current DEA registration and Arizona sedation permit (or actively pursuing) Comfortable running a busy surgical schedule and leading a chairside team Patient-first mindset — Risas serves a diverse, underserved community, and bedside manner matters here General dentists who have built a surgical practice through residency or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply Why Risas Risas Dental and Braces is one of the Southwest's fastest-growing dental groups, built around the idea that great dentistry should be accessible to everyone.

Requirements

Must be a DDS or DMD with strong surgical training (GPR/AEGD) and an active Arizona dental license. Requires a current DEA registration and Arizona sedation permit.
