The Dental Assistant will provide chairside assistance to dentists, take x-rays, and ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols. They will also prepare for patient appointments and maintain communication with the front desk.
Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant with experience in periodontics to join our Staples Mill team!
Pay range is $17-$25/hour based on experience.
Typical work hours are 8 am-5 pm Monday-Friday.
Dental assistants support the entire team of doctors, hygienists, clinical and administrative staff while always keeping our patients’ needs first. The assistant must have knowledge of dental procedures, x-ray certification, OSHA regulations and State Board requirements. Must be willing to work in and be part of the larger team and communicate effectively with doctors, employees, and patients.
