The Critical Care Transport Paramedic performs nursing-related activities under the supervision of a Staff RN, including patient care, documentation, and equipment maintenance. They respond to emergencies, assist with patient transfers, and collaborate with other healthcare providers.

Job Description: Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Staff RN, this position performs select nursing-related activities, responds to code assists, performs procedures, utilizes prescribed equipment; and performs other miscellaneous duties.

High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, EMTP - EMTP - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
State of Ohio EMT-P licensure, BLS/CPR. Optional PALS, BTLS/PHTLS
Mobile Intensive Care (MICU) transport provider focused on the timely and efficient care and the out-of-hospital transport of critically ill or injured patients. Collaborates with other EMS and/or Nurse providers in compliance with established protocol and regulatory requirements in the provision of support services and patient transports. Responsible for maintaining compliance with OhioHealth, state and federal requirements and all associated documentation

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and hold BLS certification and EMT-P licensure in Ohio. Additional certifications such as PALS and BTLS/PHTLS are preferred.
