Advanced Practice Provider specializing in comprehensive women's health care, including the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders affecting women such as abnormal uterine bleeding, enlarged fibroid uterus, infertility, and abnormal pap smears. This APP also provides care throughout adulthood including pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and beyond.Responsibilities
Provide prenatal and postpartum care and support.
Conduct routine exams such as pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams
Consultation and treatment related to irregular menses, hormone disorders, fertility and family planning, sexual transmitted disease and menopausal related conditions.
Referral to other OB/GYN physicians and/or healthcare specialists for additional diagnosis, health related screenings, and further evaluation-based treatment.
Prescribe and administer medications or therapies to treat disease or injury.
Order radiologic imaging or labs as indicated.
Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings.
