The Device Clinic RN plays a critical role in providing specialized nursing care focused on patients with implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in cardiology or electrophysiology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, clinical assessment, and common cardiac devices.
Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology or Cardiac Device Management (e.g., Certified Cardiac Device Specialist). Experience working in a cardiac device clinic, ICU or cardiac step down unit. Familiarity with remote monitoring technologies for cardiac devices. Excellent communication, organizational and patient education skills.
