Position Overview: Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Certified X-Ray Technologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in New York. This mobile role requires travel to various service locations, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, private homes, and rehabilitation centers across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations at various service locations, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, private homes, and rehabilitation centers. Travel across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx as assigned to provide mobile X-ray services. Position patients correctly and operate portable X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles. Verify patient identification and confirm physician orders before performing procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of all examinations performed. Communicate effectively with patients, facility staff, and referring physicians. Properly maintain and care for mobile X-ray equipment. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with the driver and support team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.
Must have a New York State License. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification is preferred.
Requires a New York State License and at least one year of experience as an X-ray Technologist. A degree in radiologic technology and ARRT certification are preferred.
