Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates nursing care for patients. The RN participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN assures all nursing services and patient electronic medical records successfully meet QOPI, JCAHO, ONS Chemotherapy Administration Safety Standards and ACoS compliance/certification, while increasing survivor ability and lessening the burden of cancer.
