The technologist is responsible for performing various cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms. Additionally, they conduct other cardiac tests such as EKGs and pharmacological stress tests under clinical supervision.
Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Echocardiogram Technologist is responsible and accountable for performing Cardiac Ultrasound procedures: Transthoracic echocardiograms (including neonatal exam), Stress Echocardiograms (Treadmill and Dobutamine), assisting in Transesophageal Echocardiograms; as ordered by physician, according to established standards and protocols. Performs a variety of other cardiac tests including EKG, Treadmill and pharmacological Stress Tests.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent education
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: Minimal 2 years of Cardiac Ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred
ARDMS/CCI certification required. Current BLS certificate.
BLS must be AHA certified

The hourly rate for this position is $52.93.
