· Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) · Behavioral Health Unit (BHU) · Emergency Department (ED) (based on experience and competency) · ICU (based on experience and competency)

You will also be involved with managing admission and discharge processes efficiently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for continuity of care.

In this position, you will be an important member of the patient care team. The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and within the scope of practice delineated in the New York State Nurse Practice Act. Provides direct patient care, delegates/assigns responsibility as appropriate to others, and serves as leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with and under the direction of the attending physician.

Must be a graduate of a Registered Professional Nursing Program with a current New York State RN license. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred, and new hires must obtain one within five years.
