Mt. Auburn Hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit is a trusted leader in maternity care, supporting approximately 2,600 births each year. We are proud to maintain a lower‑than‑average Cesarean (C‑section) rate, reflecting our commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
We are home to the largest midwifery practice in Eastern Massachusetts, where midwives work in close partnership with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering exceptional Labor & Delivery care. RNs work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to provide compassionate, high‑quality, and individualized nursing care to patients and their families.
