Job Description

Reports To The Care Manager/Admin will report to the Assisted Living Director/Memory Care Director. This position is exempt salary. Classified Title: Caregiver / Admin Full-Time

Salary Range

$25-27/hr. Job Overview Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life as indicated in the resident’s care plan, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities as well as provide administrative duties such as staffing scheduling, phone call assistance, scheduling appointments and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and Duties

Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents, staff and families.

Coordinates interviews and orientation for new team members.

Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.

Documents and updates the EHR as directed and under the supervision of the HWD.

Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community.

Participates in and attends all in-service training(s) as scheduled.

Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.

Perform and oversee staffing scheduling (state specific), including on-call availability for callouts and schedule changes.

Assists with communication via telephone, facsimile and/or email with families, physicians, third party vendors and/or staff.

Schedules appointments for residents as directed from the nursing staff.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or ED. Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell. An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required. Certified Nursing Assistant or Caregiver experience Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population

Requirements
