Registered Nurse (RN II) – Observation Observation- RN- Full Time / Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift; 7P-7A x3 shifts/week with rotating weekends, holidays, no on call Department Highlights: Observation Unit Fast paced (typical stay is 24-48 hours) Small unit that specializes in both obs level patients from med/surg to intermediate level of care
Here’s What You Need Education Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or Associate's Degree Nursing required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required What You Will Do Basic Human Needs - Responds to others' priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological and social needs.
