Perform specialized diagnostic breast imaging services to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions. Responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting quality reviews, maintaining equipment, and mentoring new team members.
Breast Sonographer - Breast Health Network - Waterview Park
This position may be filled as a breast sonographer level 1, 2, or 3, depending on individual experience, certifications, education, and other qualifications.

The Breast Sonographer is an experienced sonographer who provides specialized breast imaging services to OU Health patients to aid Providers in the diagnosis, care, treatment and surveillance of breast conditions, defects and/or diseases. This position is intended for experienced Sonographers who are focused on providing exceptional patient care while working towards expertise in Breast Sonography. Work is typically performed in outpatient environments across OU Health locations.

Minimum Qualifications: (Level 1):
Graduate from an accredited sonography or imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS or ARRT.
Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program will be accepted in lieu if program meets certification requirements to obtain ARMDS or ARRT certification.
No prior experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: BLS issued by the American Heart Association required
ARDMS or ARRT (RT) certification required within 1 year of hire.
Minimum Qualifications: (Level 2):
Associate's Degree from an accredited sonography or imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS or ARRT.
At least 3 years of breast imaging experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: BLS issued by the American Heart Association required
ARDMS or ARRT (RT)(S) certification required.
Minimum Qualifications: (Level 3):
Associate's Degree from an accredited sonography or imaging/radiology program as defined by ARDMS or ARRT.
At least 5 years of breast imaging experience required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: BLS issued by the American Heart Association required
ARDMS with Breast (BR) Specialty or ARRT (RT) with Breast Sonography (BS) certification required.
