Emplify Health by Gundersen is looking for a full-time (0.9 FTE) Registered Nurse [https://www.gundersenhealth.org/careers/areas/nursing] to work weekends only in our 10 bed Pediatric Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is your opportunity to provide patient and family centered care in a healing environment while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region [https://thriveinlacrosse.com/] of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
After successful orientation, this position will be a weekend-only position (WEO): work six weekend shifts between 0600 Friday and 0900 on Monday per pay period
Full-time: 72 hours per 2 weeks (0.9 FTE)
12-hour shifts, Day/Night rotation OR Straight Night - your choice!
Every 3rd holiday
Care for pediatric patients with acute or chronic medical conditions & care for pediatric patients requiring ICU level of care provide including traumas, diabetic emergencies, trachs and more
Work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of highly skilled RNs, Hospitalists, Intensivists, Pharmacists, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and other support staff.
Weekend package pay incentive (Employees will receive a Weekend Only premium equal to .3333 times base pay for the actual hours worked during these Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts; this is equivalent to 96 hours of pay for 72 hours worked.)
