A Day In The Life Of Transform Smiles: Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, and polishing teeth to perfection. Educate and Empower: Teach patients the secrets to maintaining excellent oral hygiene and the importance of dental health. Tech-Savvy Tasks: Take digital X-rays and administer nitrous oxide with precision. Periodontal Pro: Classify periodontal conditions and apply fluoride treatments to keep those smiles shining. Detail-Oriented Documentation: Conduct perio probing and meticulously document findings and treatments in electronic medical charts. Team Collaboration: Relay findings to the dentist and assist chairside as needed. Sterilization Superstar: Clean, sterilize, and set up instruments, ensuring hygiene and X-ray rooms are always ready for action. What You'll Bring To The Table Valid state license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and administering nitrous oxide. Strong knowledge of periodontal conditions and fluoride application. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Experience with electronic medical charting systems. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. X-ray certification, coronal polishing, and CPR certification required. Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate!
