The RN will gather and analyze patient information, develop and implement individualized care plans, and educate patients and families. They will also communicate patient status and follow HIPAA policies.

Position Purpose: The 8E Medical/Surgical
A wide variety of general surgery patients, including: Colorectal, hepatobiliary, thyroid/parathyroid, and vascular trauma.
Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse. BSN preferred.
· Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
· BLS.
· ACLS required for the following departments: Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency
