Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians (TECP) is a physician-owned, democratic group providing the highest quality emergency care in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for an experienced emergency medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing team!

Compensation package base is $200.00 hourly (minimum of $230,400 annually) with opportunities to earn more by requesting shifts above the guaranteed minimum Quarterly patient experience/RVU performance incentive bonus potential Sign-on bonus and/or relocation bonus potential Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, Short Term Disability insurance is offered to employees at no cost; with the option to purchase additional coverage for spouse, dependents, or family. Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, TECP currently employs over 100 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. TECP currently staffs five of MultiCare’s campuses; Tacoma General Hospital, Allenmore Hospital, Covington Hospital, Federal Way Off-Campus Emergency Department, and Bremerton Off-Campus Emergency Department.
Tacoma is the heart of the Puget Sound Metropolitan area. The city itself rests on the shores of Commencement Bay and the Puget Sound and between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. This allows for easy access to skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities. Tacoma is within a few hours of some of the world’s best wineries.
Full-time employment is twelve 8-hour shifts each month. Employees start out working a mix of shifts and training at one hospital site, and later add in working at multiple hospital sites.
Washington Emergency Care Physicians (WECP) is an independent and democratic emergency medicine group exclusively partnered with MultiCare Health Systems (MHS) to provide emergency medicine staffing for hospital-based and free-standing emergency departments.
WECP supports practicing physicians at Tacoma Emergency Care Physicians, Spokane Emergency Care Physicians, and Olympia Emergency Care Physicians, for over five decades, since 1972. Together we treat over 210,000 Washington patients every year, which represents more than 50% of emergency services within the health system.
