The Medical Assistant prepares the operating room and ensures all sterile equipment is available for procedures. They provide direct clinical assistance to physicians during assisted reproductive technology procedures and maintain strict infection control standards.

With a patient-centered approach and cutting-edge technology, we support individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. The Medical Assistant completes a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for patient and staff; provides assistance to the physician and appropriate medical staff by performing the following duties.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of related experience and/or training; Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is highly desirable. Prior experience in surgical setting a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
