Serology Technician

Essential Functions

• Perform manual Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) and automated ELISA tests using DSX Automated Processor on patient serum samples. Perform Western Blot tests using BeeBlot Machine. Perform simple preventive maintenance of DSX, Automated Washer, Absorbance Detector and Beeblot Machine in accordance with standard protocol (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually). Assist in resolving discrepancies, troubleshooting results, and inventory. Assist in the interpretation of results of ELISA and Western Blot tests. Perform and process serum separation if needed.
