Market context

North Carolina L&D RN roles remain competitive

Labor and delivery RN openings in North Carolina are often competitive because hospitals look for an active unrestricted RN license, BLS certification, and prior clinical nursing experience; a BSN is often preferred. This role can stand out when you show recent maternal-child experience, comfort with high-acuity teamwork, and readiness for shift-based care.
